Our Mission
Overworst was founded with a single idea: bring the world's favourite classic board games to anyone with a web browser. We started with Checkers Master because checkers is one of the oldest and most beloved strategy games on the planet — played across cultures for thousands of years.
Our small development team — a handful of board game enthusiasts and web engineers — wanted to create a version of checkers that felt polished, responsive, and genuinely fun to play against computer opponents of varying difficulty.
Everything we build is free and runs directly in the browser. No app stores, no sign-up walls, no ads that block the board. We believe great games speak for themselves.
